If two fifth of one fourth of a number is 4, what is the sum of the digits of the number?

 

Answer:

Let the number by y.

(2/5) x (1/4) y = 4

Or, (2/20)y = 4

Or, y = 4 x 20/2 = 40

Or, y = 40

Therefore the sum of digits = 4 + 0 = 4 answer
