answer:

= 9 x (1 +9 + 9² ....................+ 9⁷)/ 6

= 3 x (1 + 9 + 1 + 9 + 1 + 9 + 1 + 9)/2   ...... recording the units place only

= 3 x ..0 / 2 ...... recording the units place only

= since the units place is zero, there is no remainder.
