How many factors are there for the number 264?
Answer:
Find all the prime factors of 264. They are
2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 11
= 23 x 31 x 111
Total number of factors = (3
+ 1)(1 + 1)(1
+ 1) = 4x2x2 = 16
